Akur

Akur is a collaborative EP conceived by Fahmi Mursyid featuring electro-acoustic compositions built from manipulated performances of suling, kalimba, saron, bonang, taishokoto, wadaiko, and voice that were recorded in Bandung, Indonesia and Tokyo, Japan. The four included compositions are a mix of experimental glitch and electronically manipulated sound reminiscent of Musique Concrète and abstract Acousmatic listening experiences.
