Global Forest Residency

Insitu Recordings co-founders I Putu Gede Sukaryana (Balot) and Jonathan Adams joined the Global Forest in Sankt Georgen, Germany for a one-month residency during the summer of 2017.
Their residency involved a partnership with 3D Labs rapid-prototyping and the development of a 3D-printed electronic music interface inspired by gamelan instruments. The interface continues to be developed and was featured in their contribution to Improv Fest in 2020.
