The event was organized in the months following Subandi’s passing as a collaborative effort between SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati, Padepokan Seni Korawa, and Sanggar Ceraken, and was hosted at SMK Negeri 3 in Sukawati.
Several colleagues and friends of Subandi – I Made Sidia, I Dewa Putu Beratha, Gusti Sudarta, I Nyoman Sunarta, and Pierre Alvin – were invited to share memories and experiences studying or performing alongside the late musician.
The event concluded with a series of performances by groups representing former students of Subandi, including KOKAR, Sanggar Ceraken, Padepokan Seni Korawa, Sanggar Seni Kembang Bali, I Gede Yogi Sukawiadnyana and friends, and Jagajaga.
