Groove Café Palu Disaster Relief

Insitu Recordings is proud to have supported Groove Café‘s benefit album Aftermaths 2: The Noise in Indonesia, which was released on February 7th, 2019. Special thanks to Lintang Raditya, I Made Arsa Wijaya (Wawan), I Putu Gede Sukaryana (Balot), Kembang Ceraki, Zachary Hejny, I Wayan Arik Wirawan (Arik), I Made Subandi (Subandi), and Putu Eman Sabudi Subandi (Emon), who donated recordings to this initiative.

Groove Café’s Aftermaths series brings attention to exciting music scenes while raising awareness and funds for climate disaster recovery. The second entry in the series, which includes a selection of pieces from the Insitu Recordings catalog, showcases noise, synth, improv, and gamelan music. Proceeds from the release are donated to disaster relief for the people of Palu, Sulawesi affected by the 2018 earthquake and tsunami.

All proceeds from this album are directed to Helping Hand for Relief and Development.
