This is a recording of kidung Sanglana sung by the daha during the Usaba Sumbu. Kidung Sanglana is sung following both the palegayung dance and masindihan/rejang rituals performed by the daha during the Usaba Sumbu. Kidung Sanglana is used to conclude rituals. The daha sing it while the gambang performs the concluding melody Panjimarga, though the two are not coordinated.

A note about texts

Balinese text is still being verified for translation. The symbol “/” that is present in some texts indicates where a carik was present in the manuscript from which this text was derived. It is unclear how these breaks were determined or precisely what they mean.
